PUYALLUP: Vermillion reminiscent of George Dill

George Dill, my late husband, had vision for the city of Puyallup. Sadly, he was unable to see it through.

I had high hopes that his appointed fill-in (Ms. Martineau) would continue his dream, but sadly she has lacked vision and has been more of a follower than a leader.

I’ve taken an active interest in the upcoming election and feel that either of the candidates would be a win for District 1 and the city of Puyallup.

Further, I’ve been surprised by at-large candidate Steve Vermillion. In talking and meeting with Mr. Vermillion, I see characteristics of Dill in him. He is easy to talk to and listens, then calls back with answers rather than passing me off.

He values giving the people a voice and not wasting money on things like renting space to hold court. I believe Dill would have agreed with me in supporting Steve Vermillion.

  1. CrazyJim says:

All that extra room over at the grand palace and they rent a place to hold court. (Head falls forward and hits keyboard)

    Steve Vermillion it is.

  2. Our entire neighborhood misses George and his representation. We’ve never seen Martineau here. Must be just a puppet of the cronies. We look forward to either Hopkins or Smillie representing us and Vermillion representing the entire metropolis.
