This election year in Puyallup we have some good candidates for City Council. I encourage you to support and vote for Steve Vermillion for the at-large position.

The Puyallup downtown core looks more beautiful than ever, which leads us to believe this beauty is more than skin deep. The shine and polish has been far too expensive for far too long. It’s not commonly known, but we’ve literally sacrificed our city infrastructure to pay for this plastic surgery.

As a community, we are presented with the simple choice between a fresh, conservative and moral leader in Vermillion, or more of the same old song and dance.

Vermillion understands the only way we can afford to enjoy the beauty is to take care of the infrastructure. He will unwaveringly and consistently stand up for what is right every time and not by sacrificing of our futures, our livelihood or our families.

Please join with me to elect Vermillion – a leader we can trust, a leader we can depend on.

  1. CrazyJim says:

    Amen brother!

  2. As I understand it she said “I helped close a $5 million budget deficit without laying off any city employees or raising taxes.” Problem is I believe part of the solution was to agree to increasing our water and sewer fees (Fee is another word for TAX). She loses my vot based on that alone. We need people who can make tough financial choices without immediately going to the tax payers (i.e., FEE payers).

  3. My above reference is to Steve’s competition, not to steve! You go Steve!

  4. everyone says:

Vermillion is the best candidate by far!

  5. eveyone, I agree, and would almost accept living in Puyallup to vote form him.

  6. On an extremely rare occassion is a single candidate endorsed by all public safety agencies and a key newspaper. Steve Vermillion is endorsed by your fire fighters (The Pierce County Professional Fire Fighter Union Local #726), your police officers (Puyallup Police Association) and just today, by the Tacoma News Tribune. Now that’s an expression of confidence as to who is the best candidate. Congratulations Mr. Vermillion!
