TACOMA: Citizens can buy local, even if city doesn’t

Re: “Canadian firm gets Tacoma website contract” (TNT 10-16).

Though the City of Tacoma may not support the local high-tech economy, the citizens of Tacoma can still support the local economy by shopping locally.

I appreciate Stadium Thriftway, which, I just found out, has a policy of highlighting local products. As a result, I was able to purchase the breakfast cereal, Mountain Muesli (“Tacoma muesli business started with a search for cereal,” TNT, 10-12). Quite tasty, I might add.
