PUYALLUP: Vermillion is the voice city needs

Steve Vermillion is the best choice for the at-large seat on the Puyallup City Council. He is endorsed by the Pierce County Professional Firefighters IAFF 726 FF and the Puyallup Police Association. He is endorsed by longtime residents and business owners, citizens in their mid-20s and citizens in their mid-80s, women and men.

Vermillion brings the complete package: an open mind; willingness to work with all council members and citizens; concrete, practical ideas on how to improve the city; and a background with a wide range of meaningful experiences that actually apply to the position of a council member.

He supports initiative and referendum for citizens, is a fiscal conservative who supports consolidating city services into city property, and he will securitize the city budget to make sure we are getting the most for our money without raising taxes.

He was dedicated to serving our country for more than 25 years; to his wife of more than 40 years and his children and grandchildren; and to serving the citizens of Puyallup for the next four years on the City Council.

A vote for Vermillion is a vote for your voice to be heard in Puyallup.

    He has my vote.

  2. everyone says:

He has my vote also. Vermillion is a real person with real life experiences, real education and real job experience. He is intelligent, honest and caring. He has no need to inflate his credentials. He excelled in the military with multiple medals, excelled in graduate school and excelled in multiple high level jobs. He is endorsed by our local and courageous police officers and fire fighters who I trust to know what’s best for this city.

  3. puyallupmutt says:

The Puyallup Council needs balance to counteract the radical authoritarian regime that would come into majority through Vermillions election.

He is now so beholden to Knutsen and Hansen, that he has lost his credibility as an independent.

Most of Martineau’s supporters are not so much pro-Martineau, but against the concept and consequence of a council ruled by a “bully majority” who cynically hold their own private “rolling meetings” away from City Hall and have the police conduct background checks on commuters who have the audacity to park within earshot of the Sounder Station. What class !

Many will simply hold their nose and vote for Martineau.

  4. theglovesRoff says:

So puyallupmutt, you are endorsing Martineau???

That is what I get from your last comment.

  5. navajoranch says:

Steve Vermillion will not be beholden to anyone! He has a brilliant mind of his own.

Martineau is already beholden to the Master Builders, Mike Cina (cottage housing) and many others.

Steve has my vote and my neighbors on either side. We’re all old timers around here and tired of the business as usual thingy.
