PUYALLUP: Vermillion a good neighbor

About four months ago, our neighbors announced they planned to sell their home and move to Texas.  About a month ago, I got a frantic call from across the street. They had a huge pile of things in their front yard such as furniture. The charitable agency scheduled for pick-up, broke down. I offered to make calls to find a truck but couldn’t find one.

Then, I recalled Steve Vermillion offered his help at St. Francis House. I called him. Steve and I loaded up his truck, took the furniture to St. Francis House, returned, and placed the remainder of the items in my back yard. Steve said he’d come back the next morning and we could take the rest over to St. Francis House.

This is a true act of kindness to drop everything to help a neighbor.

  1. ValleyTarts says:

Steve Vermillion is a class act running for council. His opposition, Nicole Martineau would have shown up, had someone take a photo, turn around and leave. And then she would claim credit for a good deed at the next council meeting (on camera).

Steve would be a refreshing honest change to a council that needs a shot of honesty and responsibility.

  2. Steve Vermillion is one of the rare people who still think that running for office is serving the public. His common sense and middle of the road ideas for working families is something we desperately need in an elected official. We have enough greedy power grabbers already. It’s time to give folks like Steve a chance.

I googled him and found this. Wow! Very impressive. He’s got my vote.

  4. Steve Vermillion is one R that I would vote for.

    Good look and God speed.
