How exciting for the Puyallup School District that Therese Ngo Pasquier has agreed to run for the school board’s open position. Therese cares about kids and has the appropriate leadership skills, education and dedication necessary for one to be considered an ideal candidate.

Her qualifications are admirable; she has served on numerous school and community committees, such as on the Citizens Committee for Education, as president of Wildwood Elementary PTA and on the Puyallup City Council Salary Review Commission. She has served on the boards of St. Francis House, the Emergency Food Network and Good Samaritan Hospital. In addition, she has written grants and secured $300,000 for school projects.

Therese cares about the community, and she wants what is best for her two children as well as all the students in our district. She is willing to be the voice of the people. We need to elect fresh, strong, fair advocates to serve as school board members. Please give Therese Pasquier your support.

(Stricherz is a business and marketing teacher in the Puyallup School District.)
