OBAMA: Focus on problems, not re-election

Reports have come out that President Obama will have about $1 billion in his “war chest” for the next election by the end of this year. The president is already spending a greater portion of his time on the campaign trail.

What this country doesn’t need right now is a part-time president.

Despite what the “experts” tell us, the economy doesn’t seem to be turning around; every day we read of another business closing and more people unemployed. Unemployment rates really aren’t dropping; they are going up if you count all the people who have already run out of unemployment benefits and still haven’t found work. Those people aren’t even on the grid anymore.

Many people are experiencing the worst weather conditions in many years, and that is causing even further hardships. And when you factor in the high price of fuel and the effect it is having on food prices, most Americans are in a world of hurt.

Maybe the president needs to get back to taking care of business and not worrying about the next presidential election.
