WASHAM: Tax dollars are being wasted

Just out of curiosity, how much of my tax dollars has gone toward Dale Washam’s frivolity?

He hasn’t earned his salary, because he’s been too busy with his own agendas. He’s run up idiotic investigative costs in a Don Quixote quest. He’s all but destroyed the assessor-treasurer’s office and function. He’s the subject of multiple lawsuits brought against the county through his temper tantrum demotions and firings. Now we’re expected to pay his attorney fees, plus he wants to be reimbursed for any other fees he’s accrued?

No wonder he never got elected until the convoluted ranked-choice-voting system election. I think the required number of votes to oust him is 65,494 more than we should need.

Dale Washam continues to prove what a liability he is to the taxpayers of Pierce County. If an elected official ever deserved to be recalled, it is Washam. His personal agenda is ridiculous and he just feels that as an “elected” official, he can do whatever he wants. He was not even slightly qualified for this position and thanks to the disasterous ranked choice voting system, we got stuck with this completely incompetent idiot. I sincerely hope the citizens of Pierce County all work on this recall! He needs to hit the road!

  2. Washam is a waste, period.
that must be why the rightists support him.

Yo, xtp, can you prove that?

I think the lefties are supporting him because the taxes haven’t gone down with the property assessments, and that is giving the lefties more money to waste.

Your letter is brimming with misinformation and hype. Not one lawsuit has been filed in any court; please get your facts straight. Mark Williams was served with a 14 day demand on his unfiled suit, on the 14th day the County raced into a settlement; so he got paid off without having to file.
Instead of repeating hyperbole, how about getting the facts next time?
