TACOMA: Ticket those North End speeders

I live off of North Orchard in Tacoma. After the 30th Street four-way stop, where the speed limit is 30, then down by 37th it changes to 25 mph, drivers seem to like to ignore the speed. If the police department would assign one unit to sit on North 35th or so and give out tickets for speeding, I am pretty sure they would be able to repave all of North Tacoma with the money they would collect.

I personally know four people who have complained to the police about the constant high speeds people drive on this stretch of road, but nothing ever gets done. I have seen on numerous occasions the tricked-out cars driven by younger kids, as well as street bikes going 70 mph-plus up and down this road.

Something needs to be done before a child or anyone else for that matter ends up hit by a reckless driver.
