SUPER BOWL: Worst half time show ever

For what was a great football game, half-time was the worst I have ever seen. I thought it was just me until my teenage grandchildren said the same thing. Theatrical performance, maybe; but music, I don’t think so.

It’s no wonder that the NFL doesn’t pay the half-time entertainment, because if they did they would want their money back.

  1. Agree with this one, I never thought I’d miss Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers that much!

  2. The only reason I won’t say that hgh school bands marching up and down the field would have been better than that one is that some might think I was disprespecting high school band members by even using them as a comparison.

  3. Rowdy_Rob says:

I’ve let out farts that sounded better than that halftime show…

  4. Pretty good window as to where we are and where we are going as a culture though…

  5. They should keep the peas in the can.

  6. Also a good example of why liberals should study civics in high school. Maybe they will learn the words to the National Anthem.

  7. JudasEscargot says:

    What makes Aguilera a liberal?

She looks like a FOX Snooze blonde…and is probably smarter than one.

As to the halftime show – who cares? I was watching a football game.

  8. Murigen says:

It was only bad for the people stuck in the stadium. For the rest of us we could leave the room or…gasp…use the DVR and zip through it.

  9. Judas, she’s a liberal because she’s a liberal. Clear enough for you?

  10. JudasEscargot says:

Oh…if “frosty” says someone is a “liberal”…that makes them one.

    If Judas says frosty is……oh…nevermind…..LMAO

  11. JudasEscargot says:

“Throughout her youth in Pittsburgh, Aguilera sang “The Star-Spangled Banner” before Pittsburgh Penguins hockey, Pittsburgh Steelers football and Pittsburgh Pirates baseball games, including during the 1992 Stanley Cup Finals.[28] Following her television appearances Aguilera experienced resentment and bullying from her peers including an incident in which her peers slashed the tires on her family’s car.[29] Aguilera recalls, “doing what I did and maybe being a little smaller, I was definitely picked on and bullied for the attention that I got. It was definitely unwanted attention and there was a lot of unfairness about it.”

    Probably Conservatives.

Now that I’ve had my fun exposing frosty as a nincompoop again….

My guess is that the lady had a lapse of memory for the moment. When you’ve done 1000s of performances, you’ll drop a lyric now and then.

  12. Lapse of memory? Her “peers were more than likely the street hoods that infest all cities. Not many conservatives there. Judas are you really that dense?
