Although I have voted for a number of Democrats over the years, I am a Republican, so I was I was more than a little impressed with state Sen. Jim Kastama’s vote not to seat a fellow Democrat in the Senate. Why? Because even though he knew that his action would not be popular with many of his party members, he took a stand because he felt that the election of Nick Harper had been rigged by the Moxie Media firm, and I agree.

It is nice to know that the person who represents our 25th District is a man of integrity.

If and when he decides to run for Governor, he is someone this Republican could gladly support. We need more officeholders like him. He is accessible, he listens to his constituents and he displays the courage of his convictions.

  1. All high profile politicians love the publicity their actions bring. As long as they can put a positive spin on any episode presented to them. This is known as campaigning by name recognition. If Chrissy choses not to run for reelection, keep your eye on those deciding to run.

How much did you pay your mom to write the article?

  3. hortonpeak says:

Been nice if the Seators “integrity” extended to those folks who won election due to the actions of AFPW.

We who actually have watched Jimmy, know better !

  5. There are those that believe one acceptable action from an office holder negates the mistakes that same office holder has made!
