I feel safe now. Billy Bichsel and his gang have been rounded up and convicted of trespassing, conspiracy and destruction of government property.
If Bichsel (82 years old) gets away with this, 70-year-olds may be stirred to rebellion. He formed his gang – a priest (60), a nun (84), a schoolteacher (67) and a social worker (60). This bunch used bolt cutters to gain entry into a sensitive area and remained there for 41/2 hours before being apprehended.
They were forced to wear sacks over their heads to deny them sight of nuclear weapons. Just think if they all had had the eyesight and agility of a 55-year-old!
I have grave doubts about our security in a place like this.
Bichsel and all those who walk with him should be given the highest honor for shining the light of day on this situation.
Bill Bichel is a habitual offender, and he will continue to break the law; for the media attention he gets. They ought to just sentence him without any further media reports.
How many deaths can be caused by a handgun?

We should thank them for showing us how easy it is to break into a Naval Base. The government should be thanking them for bringing this to their attention! Will justice be served by sending these older folks to jail…I don’t think so.

How about if anyone over 70 years of age breaks the law,the authorities just looks the other way and ignores the situation?

Your logic is illogical. This guy has been to prison before, he doesn’t learn.
There are other ways to protest, he chooses to break the law. He should not get special treatment because he is old. He has just been a fool longer than most.
