WIKILEAKS: New light shed on Arab position

If nothing else, the Wiki leaks shed very welcome global light on the workings and real attitude of the Saudi government.

It’s time the public had a better understanding of the self-serving House of Saud. Not wanting to openly criticize a neighboring Muslim country ( Iranians are not Arabs ), they’d prefer to have the United States do their dirty work.

This obscenely wealthy family is focused on nothing but self-perpetuation. It is why they allow cruel, oppressive Wahabism to flourish in exchange for the clerics not contesting the government.

Saudi Arabia is one of the main players in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. The Palestinians have always served as a distraction to the world. When the Saudis decide it is more in their interest to have peace with Israel than for the conflict to continue we will, magically, have peace in Gaza and the West Bank overnight.

Hamas and Hezbollah will suddenly be tamed. Iran might well prove the catalyst to bring the Saudis and, thereby, the rest of the Arab states, to that conclusion.

One thing it does show is just how much the Arab countries control this one.
They own us and we do their bidding.
If the oil men of the last administration regain control, we will be at war with Iran within weeks.
No doubt it was OPEC that told bush the failure to invade Iraq.

  2. Saudi nationals involved in 9/11

Special clearance so bin Laden family can fly on 9/12

W holding hands with the Prince of Saud.

  3. aislander says:

    Obama bows to Saudi King:

  4. NWflyfisher says:

A picture is worth a thousand words. Thanks, aislander.

  5. sumner402 says:

You need the pics of bush the failure kissing the Saudi King?
THAT pics is worth 10,000 words.

Obama didn’t bow but you both know that.

  6. sumner402 says:

How about you PROVE it WAS a bow?
You made the statement, now PROVE it.
Your childish personal attacks are an indication that even you know I am correct.

  7. ItalianSpring says:

Again- the libs prove they cannot stipulate to obvious facts. Maybe that’s why they still vote democrat even after death.

  8. redneckbuck says:

There is no way we can love the Muslim crazys in this world enough to change their hearts. Jesus is the only one that can do that. They have rejected him. Take a look at muslim communities around the globe. They live like cavemen.

  9. sumner402 says:

Again- the cons prove they cannot stipulate to obvious facts. Maybe that’s why they still vote republican even after their candidates are in prison.

  10. sumner402 says:

There is no way we can love the Muslim crazys in this world enough to change their hearts.

Your boy bush the failure kissed one on lips, does that make him a “Muslim crazy”?

  11. Prove it

  12. MadTaxpayer says:

Pres. Bush made a massive mistake invading Iraq. We should have leveled Mecca, and Riyadh. Then worked our way north.

  13. redneckbuck says:

Sumner, a change of heart does not equate to a kiss on the lips. You are missguided and illequiped to deal with the issues of today. A hate filled heart will leave empty and alone.

  14. NWflyfisher says:

Sumner402: I’m still waiting for you to provide your irrefutable evidence that Obama did not bow (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9WlqW6UCeaY) before the Saudi King. Since YOU said “Obama didn’t bow but you both know that” you can either prove it or you can’t; which is it?

  15. sumner402 says:

And your boy bush the failure kissed the same king on the libs and held his hand.
Why is one worse than the other?

Whats really amazing is when you google this, it’s only the extreme right nut job web sites that make the claim of a bow.
    What does that tell you?

He didn’t bow. but bush sure as hell planted a wet one on him!

  16. sumner402 says:

a change of heart does not equate to a kiss on the lips.

    What are you talking about?
How do you call me “misguided and illequiped” (sic)?
You want a hate filled heart, look in the mirror and the faces of your fellow low roaders.

  17. sumner402 says:

Childish name calling a deflecting from the right aside, it’s clear that the Saudi’s told bush the failure to invade Iraq and he did as he was told by the people that bought him the oval office.
More than 5000 American servicemen gave their lives for it and over 1 trillion tac dollars spent.
But yeah, lets whine and cry because a democrat bends over to take the hand of the Saudi king.
    Lions and tigers….oh my.

  18. NWflyfisher says:

Typical of you, sumner402. You can’t even “man up” and provide the evidence to support your own statement. Instead, you choose to once again demonstrate your intellectual dishonesty by trying to distract from the issue with straw man arguments. To quote John Adams “Facts are stubborn things; and whatever may be our wishes, our inclinations, or the dictates of our passion, they cannot alter the state of facts and evidence.” Video facts and evidence from the actual event: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9WlqW6UCeaY.

  19. sumner402 says:

you choose to once again demonstrate your intellectual dishonesty by trying to distract from the issue with straw man arguments.

Good lord man, do you not see how it was YOU that did this with your BS “Obama bowed” straw man??
Do you even know what a straw man is?

My point, from the very beginning was that your boy the failure was controlled by the Arabs, YOU then came in with your straw man….’He bowed!” can you at least be a tiny bit honest about that?
    Just once?
i know you have to attack anyone who hands you your butt in an argument, and your cheer leading squad to back you up, but seriously, you have to know you are as wrong about this as you are most everything else.

Calling me names only serves to show how desperate you really are.

  20. sumner402 says:

sozo, what a positive, contented, up beat attitude you have, where ever did you get it?
Your hypocrisy really does take your breath away.

  21. The beauty of caller id is that you don’t have to answer the phone just because it rings.

  22. sumner402 says:

A battle of wits with sumner402 is engaging an unarmed opponent and an exercise in futility.

And yet you lost that battle.

  23. sumner402 says:

A kiss on the lips and holding the hand is OK with the far right but bending over to take the hand of a king to shake it…….horrible.

  24. It appears that the caretakers at the Trib thought my comment was mean-spirited or something rendering sum’s reply to me meaningless. How fitting is that ?

  25. aislander says:

sozo: Do you recall the original forum format? Except for a tendency to be glitchy, it was PERFECT. There were no words that were verboten, and no board nanny who imposed his idea of propriety and pointedness on members. It was tied in with the rest of the paper, and had a MUCH better history utility than it now does, so comments on letters were able to be found in the same place as comments on stories or on editorials. One could reply directly to a comment, and the thread could be expanded or collapsed as desired. I remember with fondness the posts of a certain AmandaDaniel, who would not have suffered…well: you know. But that duo gave up during the Pluck era, sad to say…

  26. beerBoy says:

ai – there are a whole lot of new screen names since Pluck……and many of them seem to know the history.

  27. I sure hope the horrifed right never go to Japan.

  28. Great letter, Mr Allen, thanks for the information and thanks for your decades of service to our city. I trust your retirement is going well.

Keep writing letters; I find your view points spot on.

  29. aislander says:

beerBoy writes: “ai – there are a whole lot of new screen names since Pluck……and many of them seem to know the history.”

…but none, sadly, who wish to put certain peoples’ heads in a blender…

  30. aislander says:

Oh, and the original format was editable…

  31. beerBoy says:

    Word for the day:

    cock·a·lo·rum (kk-lôrm, -lr-)
    1. A little man with an unduly high opinion of himself.
    2. Boastful talk; braggadocio.

  32. “H” was not bowing…he was picking up his teleprompter ear bud that fell to the floor strategically on front of you know who…

  33. beerBoy says:

“H” – nothing quite like passive aggressive attacks.

W claimed that nickname rather than being call Number 2 or Jr. , therefore it was appropriate tor refer to him as W. Osama, or his handlers, has never referred to himself by his middle initial.

But then…..why would you want to refer to the duly elected president by his middle name……could it align with your vehement negative feelings about Arabs and Islam?

  34. aislander says:

beerBoy writes: “…could it align with your vehement negative feelings about Arabs and Islam?”

Which raises the question, beerBoy: Why do you have such vehemently positive feelings about them? Before I noticed that they were killing people who weren’t attacking them (Munich, ’72 to the present), I harbored only neutral or even, based on movies such as “Lawrence of Arabia,” slightly romanticized views of them, but since the outrages commenced, I have seen NO actions that would cause me to embrace them. So why do you? Is it because (no imputation of antisemitism) you despise Israel as a socially-acceptable substitute for voicing your hatred of America? Please enlighten me…

  35. You hit the nail on the head Ai.

How about we just call him Barry Soetoro. At least that way no one’s feelings will be hurt because they think someone is making an “islamophobic” insinuation.

  36. beerBoy says:

ai – speaking out against oppression doesn’t equate to “vehemently positive feelings”.

And, if you and whoeverheiscallinghimselfthesedays, paid attention to my rants about ALL organized religion you would understand that I really think that anybody who thinks scripture is literal truth is an idiot – Hindu, Muslim, Christian or Jew.

BUT that doesn’t mean that I shouldn’t defend one group of idiots who is being oppressed another group of idiots.

AND that doesn’t mean that I shouldn’t be critical of the completely non-critical support my government offers a foreign country even when it is counter to our country’s best interests.

  37. beerBoy says:

But then….if I have demonstrated “vehemently positive feelings” that who’sonfirst thinks “hits the nail on the head” then I am sure he could pull up a few past posts to support your claim.

  38. beerBoy says:

ai – so why do you think using white phosphorus against civilians is acceptable? Or using children as human shields?

  39. aislander says:

So…beerBoy: IS Israel a stand-in for America to you?

  40. aislander says:

…and beerBoy: one doesn’t RUSH to the defense of those for whom he has no affinity…

  41. aislander says:

…UNLESS the enemy of your enemy IS your friend…

  42. beerBoy says:

ai – distortion of my views is all you have.

    America first, second and third.
No other country should be prioritized.

Support for Israel has no strategic advantage for US.

  43. beerBoy says:

Suggesting that I consider the US my enemy is contemptible.

And, for the record, I don’t consider Israel “the enemy”. I DO consider those who put Israel’s interests above the interests of the US, traitors though.

  44. “one doesn’t RUSH to the defense of those for whom he has no affinity”

  45. beerBoy says:

Unless, of course, he is an agnostic who actually took the Sermon on the Mount seriously.

  46. aislander says:

    beerBoy walks among us!

  47. beerBoy says:

be sure to send your “love gifts” or you ain’t gwine up to hebbin!
