AIR SECURITY: Palin could be a leader on issue

Letter by Greg Cook, Fircrest on Nov. 24, 2010 at 1:49 pm with 20 Comments »

I am not a fan of Sarah Palin, but I really think we could use her help on one issue: airport “security.”

I would love for the top mama grizzly to stand up and say, “Listen, TSA, you don’t need to be groping us or our cubs.”

Really, have Americans become so docile that we will put up with this gross abuse from a government agency? (Not that having a private force do it would be any better.)

I hope Palin can show some leadership on this issue and help empower Americans to say no to an unconstitutional travesty.

  1. does Palin even fly commercial anymore?

  2. bobcat1a says:

    Nope, Lear jet.

  3. Good question xriiing… feel free to provide any links…. basic rule of internet rhetoric ;)… do your own research.

  4. I hope you are on the next plane where security is compromised the way you wish and it goes Boom!!!
Go back to school and learn something.

  5. Leadership from Palin? That’s a good one. All we get from her is hateful, negative rhetoric. I heard a good description about her the other day: angry victim.

  6. Concernedfather says:

    Would the headline read:
“Airport Groping Gets Sarah Palin Really Heated”?

    or;

“TSA Workers Eject Sarah Palin From Airport; After She Is Caught Sneaking Back In Line For A Fourth Pat Down”

    You Betcha, By Golly!

  7. theogsters says:

“an unconstitutional travesty”? Nonsense! I prefer a “pat down” to being blown out of the air — a small price to pay.

  8. Go get yourself patted down, theogsters, and leave the rest of us alone.

Freedom and privacy are not small prices to pay, just so you can feel safe.

  9. No Concernedfather, that would be Barney Frank, not Palin in your headline.

  10. JudasEscargot says:

    Good one, Greg

  11. JudasEscargot says:

    Palin doesn’t want attention.

In today’s news – refers to Bush Family as “blue bloods”, blames Bush for economic woes (gawd, I hope she isn’t declaring Democrat now) and directs at First Lady Obama that parents don’t need the government to raise their children.

Well, she was correct on two of three. Maybe the Surgeon General could provide her a little advice on birth control and potty mouth.

  12. Hey Publico — That could be……. ANY plane in the sky. These new securityy enhancements are 1) only randomly applied to a minority of passengers, 2) still do not detect non-metal explosives tucked in one’s nether-regions, and 3) still do not detect explosives shipped in the cargo hold.

Please explain to me WHY you feel safer now?

  13. JudasEscargot says:

velmak – as they say, better a smartass than a dumbass.

Again, ignoring the obvious that Palin claims she doesn’t need help raising her kids, but history proves differently.

I can’t wait for Palin to complain about the report of her comments on Ingram’s show. She is so creative about blaming others for her own inability to close her mouth.

  14. JudasEscargot says:

Why are all the people who were deathly afraid of terrorists in our supermarkets now, suddenly, offended at security in airports.

Oh…sorry, I forgot. Obama is President.

  15. Roncella says:

Judas, Is your middle name sumner ?

Sarah Palin has more courage to speak out and give her honest opinion about contversial subjects then are most establishment dems. or Republs..

The tea party folks relate to her down home speech and beliefs and pride in America.

You smart alerk lib/dems. just go right ahead with your smart aleck remarks
you may just end up being sorry for what you wish for, Palin running for President, and winning.

Another obsessed with who is who on the forum. Is your middle name 3rd Pig?

Palin is reading what is written for her to say. The last original statement by Palin was “all of them” when asked by Couric if what she reads.

Tea Party folks would buy a freezer in Alaska if someone preceeded the sales pitch with “tax cuts” and “take our country back”

  17. Roncella says:

Judas, Perky Katie Couric, needs Palin alot more than Palin needs her.

Couric’s show is so low on the charts the only folks watching it are you Judas, and Katie Couric’s mom and dad.

FOX could only WISH for the CBS Evening News rating, Roncella. You are not very educated on ratings, are you?

CBS Evening News – 6.1 million viewers

FOX – averaged 1.85 million viewers in primetime for the month

CBS still does news. What’s that stuff that FOX is doing?

  19. sumner402 says:

Please explain to me WHY you feel safer now?

Why did you feel safer under the failure gw bush?
Keep in mind, this is HIS plan.

  20. sumner402 says:

Roncella. You are not very educated on ratings, are you?

    Thats putting it mildly.
