PALIN: Voters won’t go for inexperience again

The muckrackers continue to criticize Sarah Palin with regard to her alleged run for the presidency. They continue to rave that she lacks the political skills and experience; that is the constant drumbeat of the news media and their cohorts in the arena of the uninformed.

The American voters have finally ascertained that the last two years has been a political debacle due to the lack of political skills and sound judgment by the individual currently occupying the Oval Office, not to mention his personal ideology.

I think the majority of American voters finally “got it.” Never again will we elect an inexperienced individual.

Hey, the woman can make a speech. What’s Obama got that she doesn’t?

  2. GHTaxPayer says:

And hopefully we will never again vote for a liberal Democrat for President.

Liberalism breeds a society of lazy, dependent people.

  3. I’m not sold on Ms. Palin either, but she would have made a much better president than the current occupant of the White House. She had executive experience (mayor and governor of a large state) and a limited government outlook that was entirely lacking on Mr. Obama’s resume. The nation elected the most liberal member of the US Senate and was then “shocked” at the arrogance and incompetence that followed.

Hey, the woman can make a speech. What’s Obama got that she doesn’t? “

The ability to answer questions from someone other than FOX

  5. JudasEscargot says:

“She had executive experience (mayor and governor of a large state)”

Wasilla has less people than Tumwater, who has a part time mayor. “Large state”????? 600,000 people – less than greater Seattle.

And they claim Obama underqualified. His state legsilation position represented more than 600,000.

    Uninformed voters strike again!!!

  6. JudasEscargot says:

“Liberalism breeds a society of lazy, dependent people

Bill Gates (jr. and sr.) Warren Buffet, Michael Moore, etc, etc, etc etc.

    Conservatism breeds ignorant kneejerks.

  7. I think Ozark is trying to convince the general public that Alaska is a large state in ways other than total land area. Alaska does not have by any stretch of the imagination the problems a governor of a populous industrial state has or a mayor of a major city. Alaska has no tax/revenue problems because it reaps the benefit of oil royalties from oil that is sold on the open market. It would be nice if every citizen of the good old USA receive a royalty check every year like every man, woman and child in Alaska. Palin complains when the citizens of the lower forty-eight receive benefits from tax revenues, while she calls it free enterprise when these royalties for which none of the Alaskan citizens have anything to do with generating the oil and the royalties. Maybe a call to rebate the prices paid at the pump are no different than reducing taxes?

  8. JudasEscargot says:

and, of course, Palin QUIT the governor’s position. It was too difficult.

  9. OK, Obama can answer questions from MSNBC, but Palin has cajones.

OK, Obama can answer questions from MSNBC, but Palin has cajones.

Palin showed her cajones with Katie Couric in a softball contest, and then hid from the media for the rest of her life.

Obama spend a day with the GOP leadership and left them frustrated and embarrassed.

    Another uneducated voter.

  11. bobcat1a says:

V, It’s COJONES. She didn’t have enough to finish out her term when the pressure was on. I for one am glad it was Obama who got that call at 3:30 this morning when the problem in Korea occurred. Sarah might have resigned, or worse yet, done something.

  12. One Guy’s Blog (and since JE is a Blog moderator, he should understand the opinions expressed are worth reading).

“Just as it was with the results of the November 2nd election, Obama appears clueless as to the reasons why the North Koreans are behaving as they do. It’s because his Administration projects weakness. Less than two weeks ago, Obama was in South Korea to attend the G-20 Summit and foreign leaders made it abundantly clear that they reject Obama’s leadership on a range of issues. North Korea certainly couldn’t have missed that signal.”

    http://mikesamerica.blogspot.com/2010/11/obamas-3-am-phone-call-north-korea.html

  13. I think the libs on this blog are missing my point. I’m not in favor of a President Palin. Period.

My primary point was that the nation did itself a major disservice by electing a smooth talking legislator as president who was never the top dog of any organization, political or otherwise. You can blame Palin for quitting as governor and that’s completely fair, but it seems to me that Mr. Obama should have at least finished his first tour as the junior senator from Illinois before running for president. Our nation deserves better.

  14. donjames says:

+1, ozark. That major dose of truism pretty much cancells-out anything the Palin stalkers who inhabit this forum (and thread) have to offer.

The simple fact is that one does not have to be in favor of her as a candidate for POTUS in order to point out the obvious fact that 0bama is the single most inexperienced, unqualified, disaster of an excuse for a chief executive since… jimmy cata.

Any criticism of Palin based on experience oozes of hypocrisy. A comparison of the two two years ago clearly favors Palin.

But then… she wasn’t running for President.

Oh, and JE, how many times has the narcissist-in-chief appeared on FOX? Now let’s add=up all of Palin’s appearances on the MSM.

With apologies to James Carville: If Sarah “gave up one of her balls and gave it to Obama, he’d have two.”

  15. The more Palin appears on TV the dumber she looks. Reminders: the Katie Curic interview, She claims can see Russia from her backyard on a clear day. (I guess the scene were she in backyard it must not have been a clear day)… She mistakes a 6″ orange disk (a clay pigeon) for a mosquito. Another reminder She quit her last leadership role and her husband who played a role in her cabinet was under investigation for wrong doing… I don’t want to know what wrong doing he’ll get away with if she makes President. Also she states how she rather stay in Alaska then be in any stuffing political office

  16. redneckbuck says:

Obama is caught up in his own ego. He should have fixed the economy, by removing taxes, instead of burdening business with healthcare. Healthcare is great if we could afford his plan. Obama’s plan adds so much in admin costs over what we already have that the costs go up. His health care plan will be his undoing. I think his heart is in the right place but his inexperience probably led to taking bad advice.

  17. redneckbuck says:

We have gone from a President that did not communicate at all to a President that won’t shut the hell up.

  18. Roncella says:

redneckbuck, Your last post says a mouthful about Obama. He seems to have this disire to be seen on T.V. everyday, reading from his tele-prompter.

He actually believes dems. lost in the last election because he didn’t explain his positions enough to the American People. He was on the T.V. daily, trying to eplain an ObamaCare health plan that is bankrupt before it goes into effect.

Sarah Palin will cause the Dems. and the establishment Republs. alot of grey hair as the Presidential race gets hotter and hotter.

As far as appearing on the perky Katie K. show, why should she ? All Katie and many of the other bias liberal talk show hosts do is who offer trick questions and then edit out the clips that Sarah Palin did well in answering but leave in the clips that make her appear stupid.

Sarah Palins footprint will be on all the Male canidates back, forcing them to move to the center/right in their positions. If she accomplishes nothing more than that, thats a Great Accomplishment.

  19. TOOCAN, who said this ???

” I should note, just personally, I grew up in Hawaii, as many of you know, and I still recall sitting on my grandfather’s shoulders when those capsules would land in the middle of the Pacific and they’d get brought back and we’d go out and we’d pretend like they could see us as we were waving at folks coming home. And I remember waving American flags … ”

One problem little Barry… there were no Appollo splash downs even close to Hawaii then.

  20. Thats saying alot, donjames.

  21. Here we go again . . . Two years of ignorance and hate and in the end nothing will change.

  22. old_benjamin says:

Judas, get a TV, then tell me about Palin hiding from the media. You can’t see her from your front porch, even when you stand on your tippytoes and wear them new spectacles you got at the Dollar store.

  23. Roncella says:

old-ben, Palan has learned to avoid liberal bias interviewers that do nothing but ridicule her, and her family and make her out to be unqualified to be President of a girl scout troop.

Palin is doing the right thing, being selective with who she grants interviews to.

Perky Katie k. will have to find another way to raise her ratings,as she is in the cellar as compared to all the other news shows.

  24. The real reason Palin quit part way through her term as governor was that she could see the moon from her house so thought she could be an astronaut.

  25. Roncella says:

jwm, Your hero President Obama quit the senate to run for President, so he quit before his term was completed in the Congress, does that make him a quitter ???

Whats with all the fear of Palin ? She seems to put fear in many of the Liberalsand dems. who attack and redicule her and her family. .

  26. old_benjamin says:

Yes, it will be a hot day in Wasilla before Katey Couric gets another chance to “interview” Sarah. She made that crystal clear in her last interview with Sean Hannity. She’s a quick learner, which is more than can be said for the guy who still wants to expand the role of the guvment in the economy after wasting close to a trillion dollars on the swindleus program.

  27. “Palan has learned to avoid liberal bias interviewers”

Translation: Palin only does Conservative biased interviews.

  28. old_benjamin says:

BTW: Palin certainly may have cajones, regardess of whether she has cojones.

  29. The current president has set a new low in terms of “experience”. If he is even remotely qualified, then basically anyone who is breathing is also qualified. Enough of the nonsense about Palin’s qualifications – at least she can also speak without the help of a teleprompter.

  30. You can complain all you want to about Obama, but you have to remember what choice we had. McCain was rather sorry looking during the campaign.

This is what’s wrong with primaries. If the party had any sense, they would put up the person of their choice and not involve the public in making the choice for them.

I doubt if either of them would have been in the running had the public not been involved.

  31. Palago – You know by now that every large enterprise that is capable of launching lobbyists will accentuate one point of view, while attenuating the other.

Perhaps you could unveil your unicorn by showing the mythical creature known as an “unbiased” news source. No? Didn’t think so.

Guess we’ll just have to admit that we kinda grew out of that assumption (for me it was in the 70’s)
Judas, how many consecutive posts does it take to……oh never mind…

I’m not so much in favor of Sarah as a prez. candidate, but at least she voted when on the floor, unlike “H” who was the child that he is…
    seen and not heard…….
    “Present”…

  32. As an example:

Palin just got North and South Korea mixed up in a Glenn Beck interview (as in: “We need to stand with our North Korean allies”). There is no evidence that she knows the difference between the two countries or why they are separated.

Eisenhower was an incredible statesman and the Korean War was an incredibly dangerous and challenging time for the US when he was president. Now imagine Palin attempting to articulate a strategic position that would avoid war and maintain national security.

I don’ think so. God help us.

  33. old_benjamin says:

Joe Biden is famous for gaffes, e.g., Roosevelt made a speech on TV. Obama made a reference to the “57 states.” People who talk a lot on the record are going to make mistakes just like those of us who post a lot. It doesn’t mean they are ignorant or stupid. I sometimes say North Viet Nam when my mind is thinking North Korea. Give ‘em a break for Paul’s sake.

  34. old_benjamin says:

“We’ve got a strong candidate. I’m trying to think of his name.”
    Senator Chris Dodd

“Things are more like they are now than they ever were before.”
    Dwight D. Disenhower

“A zebra cannot change its spots.”
    Al Gore

“I tell you that Michael Jackson is unbelievable, isn’t he? Three plays in 20 seconds.”
    Al Gore

“If we don’t succeed, we run the risk of failure”
    Bill Clinton

“We are ready for an unforeseen event that may or may not occur.”
    Al Gore

“The President has kept all of the promises he intended to keep.”
    George Stephanopoulos

“Those who survived the San Francisco earthquake said, ‘Thank god, I’m still alive.’ But of course, those who died–their lives will never be the same again.”
    Barbara Boxer

“One of our nations greates leaders was Hubert Horatio Hornblower.”
    Jimmy Carter

  35. OldBen – “what does Obama have that Palin doesn’t” You mean apart from an brain?

GHT – conservatism breeds wage slave zombies.

Ozark – she also brags about how she made the big bad oil companies fork over a chuck of their profits so the State could dole it out to ‘natives’. That is so small government.

DJ – the worse president since Jimmy Carter would be Bush who lied, cheated, and stole his way into Office and during his entire time there. And it was not her experience that cost McCain the election, it was their combined stupidity.

N3 – “can see Russia from my house” was Tina Fey quoting Sara Palin’s response to a question about what her (Palin’s) foreign policy experience.

Redneck – if lower taxes creat jobs (the number one problem with the economy) why did big business just report RECORD 3rd Quarter Profits to go with our near record unemployment?

  36. Redneck – if lower taxes create jobs (the number one problem with the economy) why did big business just report RECORD 3rd Quarter Profits to go with our near record unemployment?

Roncella – by trick question do you mean the one about what papers and magazines Sara read on a regular basis? The only questions she can handle are puff balls that she knows about in advance. And if you looked at the candidates she back she is forcing the Republican Party to the far right currently occupied by the Tea Bags.

-So sorry but neither Obama nor McCain quit the senate to run. Obama did not resign his seat till after the election. Can you say Blagojevich?

D237 – ‘she can speak without a teleprompter” bese she makes notes on her hands. As for experience how did bankrupting four companies help W. Oops sorry, it showed him how to destroy the US economy.

Polago – excellent point, one only has to look at the candidates, at all levels, put forth by primaries and compare them to candidates pick by the party leadership. Another thing we should change is the ‘winner-take-all’ rule for electoral votes. Just because one candidates it .01% more then another should not mean that the one gets all the electoral votes and the other candidate gets none.

Lars – sorry but ‘mayor’ and ‘governor” Palin never got to vote, on or off the floor.

Kanpai – the Korean War lasted from June, 1950 thru July 1953. Truman was President from 1945 to January 1953. Ike was President from January 1953 on.

  37. fanciladi says:

    Well said, Johnny…my thoughts exactly!

  38. … and Barry the Obama still doesn’t know the difference between the “corps” and a “corpse”… and neither does his t.p.

  39. @xring…yes, and my point was that Eisenhower was able to negotiate the armistice to conclude the armed conflict while keeping it from turning into an all out war involving China (and Formosa) directly, and the Soviet Union.

  40. McCain and Palin were a couple of throw away candidates. If they won, well and good, the Republicans had another useful idiot in the White House. If they lost, also well and good, at least no real candidate has a blemish on their record.

  41. Kanpai:
Korean War began in June 1950 when North Korea invaded South Korea.
China Intervened in November 1950 (at the Chosen Reservoir).
Peace Talks began in June, 1951.
Ike was elected in November 1952 and took office in January 1953.
    War ended July 1953.

    R_O I am a cat person.

Whats with all the fear of Palin ? She seems to put fear in many of the Liberalsand dems. who attack and redicule her and her family.

Roncella, you have an amazing knack for being wrong. Obama didn’t quit the Senate until elected president.

As to Palin’s family – keep them off the stage and they’ll not be mentioned. Of course, there was that comment that John McCain made about Clinton’s daughter, who wasn’t paraded around pregnant and unwed, or danced on tv…..

Palin might want to monitor her daughters’ behavior. One has sleepovers with the boyfriend and the other makes headlines with her Facebook account

  43. Roncella wakes up every morning with a whole new set of talking points.

  44. And sumn others keep regurgitating the same ones over and over and over….

  45. I love the smell of lib fear, any time.

BTW, Sarah’s batting average on backing winners was over .700 at the last election. The best baseball average (as I recall) was Honus Wagner (one of the best players ever) was .381 for the 1900 season.

President Palin – sure sounds sweet to me.

  46. bobcat1a says:

pgroup, get a new statistics book. Lots of guys had better than a .381, including .406 in 1941 by Ted Williams, the last but not only player to hit over .400 for a season.

  47. Roncella says:

pgroup, they can say what they want about Palin. She puts a fear in thier souls and tingles up their legs, because she has the courage and conviction of her beliefs to actually win the Presidency.

She doesn’t need Tele-Prompters loaded at every stop telling her what to believe in and say, based on whatever group she happens to be addressing.

  48. x-ring Palin voted on the Wasilla City Council and the school board. Don’t be so extreme. “H” is very well known for his record number of “Present” (non) votes.

  49. R_O, you do love those right wing blogs and web sites. If Obama and Palin had a foot race and Obama won, Mike’s American Blog would report the results as ‘Palin finishes second, and Obama finishes dead last.’

Oaark, the nation did itself a greater disservice when we elected a lying con artist who had bankrupted every company he ever headed.

DJ, Do you mean as a guest being interviewed or as a subject of a news report?

Ronc, Palin only appears on conservative outlets because they are the only ones willing to had her puff ball questions and let her see them before the interview so her handlers can give her the answers.

  50. Just a thought, but maybe Ms P. cut a deal to end the ethics probes by resigning thus preserving her squeaky clean image.

Toocan , you could see the splash down but you could see the vapor trial cause by the descent. And point of fact, based on your quote, Mr. Obama does not say he actually say the splash downs.

Tw – I’ve know quite a few well educated people who confuse corps with corpse. And then there were several generations of southerners who though ‘damn Yankees’ was one word.

  51. toocan, make the you could not see the splash downs, but could see the vapor trail.
