ASSESSOR-TREASURER: Citizens should start exploring options

As most of us are well aware, ever since Dale Washam took office as assessor-treasurer for Pierce County, it appears that he seems focused on making someone “pay” for what he believes to be Ken Madsen’s laxity while he was holding that office.

Alberto Ugas’ letter to the Tribune (10-26) stating that he believes our prosecuting attorney should now be recalled for dereliction of his duties regarding Mr. Madsen, has really gone beyond the pale. These two men should be moving forward, not looking back.

It seems to me that some of us Pierce County citizens should seriously be considering a recall of our own. Neither Mr. Washam, nor Mr. Ugas have shown me that they are capable of carrying out the duties that we elected them to do. We need to be thinking of someone who can.

Suzan Says: Neither Mr. Washam, nor Mr. Ugas have shown me that they are capable of carrying out the duties that we elected them to do.

I say: Neither Lindquist has shown me that he is capable of carrying out the duties that we elected him to do.

    It goes both ways Suzan.

If we can not prosecute for child crimes like when Mark French your famous sheriff got a mere 30 days on his yacht for child porn, then all the prosecutors should be fired. Beginning with Lindquist.
