During this election season, I want to thank a steadfast champion of military service members and their families, Norm Dicks.

I’m a veteran of the Vietnam War and a proud supporter of Norm. The men, women, and families who have protected our freedom have served us bravely and deserve the health care and benefits that our nation has promised them.

Dicks has always stood up for our veterans and supported significant increases in health care funding for veterans and our military members. He supported the post 9/11 G.I. Bill to give our returning men and women the educational opportunities they deserve in return for their honorable service. I know these are tough times for many families, but supporting the people who defend my freedom is a top priority – that’s why I am supporting Norm Dicks for Congress.
