ELECTION: Alternative to negative campaign ads

Wouldn’t it have been nice if the money poured into political campaign attack ads over the past few weeks had gone to food banks or other charities instead of being used to assault our eyes and ears. I suppose the TV and radio stations are happy enough with this infusion of cash, but it seems a waste to me. None of these ads has affected how I will vote.

  1. AWH – you are so correct. All the money from businesses that go to bribe government officials (through campaign donations or lobbing efforts) comes from inflated prices, lower wagers, and with held dividends.

  2. eagle_beak says:

Mr. Hurst, i totally agree with you. none of that affects how i vote either.

God bless America and help us keep our country free!
