ELECTION: Less control from government

After watching the debate between Patty Murray and Dino Rossi, it all comes down to: Do you want more government running your life, or do you want less government running you life?

While neither candidate ran away with a true victory, all the indications for Murray is that she is for more government control. I don’t want the government telling me what to do and when to do it.

Murray must be really worried if she will pull off a victory, and also the big boys in Washington, D.C., must owe her some big political favors to come all the way to Washington state to campaign for her.

I am so tired of all politicians who don’t vote with their heart, for the good of all, and not just with their party. I truly wish there was someone out there who stood for integrity and truth and is a real champion for their constituents. I am basing my vote on less government in my life.

  1. OldLefty says:

Well, if you want less government, you’d better take a long look at Dino Rossi’s plan to build a fence around about 6,000 miles of border and have people stand guard along said fence and about 5,000 miles of coasts.

How big will that department be and what will it cost?

Less government? I don’t think so.

I’d really like to know how you know what is in people’s hearts. Maybe you ought to investigate your own before judging the hearts of others you don’t even know.

  3. I want to see corporations and other special interest groups have less influence on our election process. Elections, like our government, should be of THE PEOPLE, BY THE PEOPLE, and FOR THE PEOPLE.

  4. the3rdpigshouse says:

OldLefty – and now you turn out to be an anti-American and against our laws by believing an open southern border is the answer to our economic problems??! Wake up leftist!!

Murray is not a statesman – she is nothing more than an obedient dullard helping that marxist/socialist “OH-Bummer” destroy a once great nation!!!

  5. donjames says:

Border fence = more government? LMFAO!

Stretching as far as I can to understand that… logic, I’m left with this obvious question; would no fence – heck, no border security at – all equal less government?

The answer is as obvious as the absurdity of Lefty;s comment.

    Reaching much now, Lefty?

  6. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh border security is one of the things government is required to do. Duh.

  7. Roncella says:

Please get registered and vote this November to Retire Patty Murray.

she has voted extreme liberal and voted exactly as Pelosi, Reid, Obama, Biden have instructed her to vote, its time to retire her.

Vote Rossi, for intelligence, honor, and a positive influence on creating more jobs.

  8. It all comes down to this: any statement that includes the phrase “it all comes down to this” is an overgeneralized simplistic binary reduction. Period!

  9. I prefer people who vote with the minds rather than the hearts.

Just because someone does not vote the way we want does not mean they did not vote for the good of all.

And just because they vote with their party does not make them a lapdog.
