Carol Gregory, a candidate for 30th Legislative District state representative, brings an extraordinary blend of experience and professional qualifications to the task. She also brings the wisdom gained from her years as an educator and community leader.

Gregory has worked with all levels of governance, from manager of the state’s Small Business Improvement Council and Community Relations office for Gov. Booth Gardner to service as a cabinet member for the state’s superintendent of public instruction.

The King County Workforce Development Council has also sought her counsel, and she currently serves as the director of Burst for Prosperity, an important workforce training and poverty-reduction initiative. She understands that a high school diploma no longer serves as a passport to a career. Our graduating seniors are depending on our community and technical colleges to take them to the next level.

Gregory has been in the trenches to make our public education system a priority. We need her talent, experience and energy at work for us in Olympia. By any measure, she deserves our vote because she is the most qualified candidate for the Legislature we have seen in years. Equally important, we deserve the best and brightest to represent us.
