ELECTION: To slow spending, choose Rossi

There exists a choice this fall that is distinct and simple. Dino Rossi believes it is business that create jobs. The incumbent believes it is government. Who is right? Or is there a “right”? Let’s take a look.

Business, in its essence, grows and harvests things, digs things out of the ground and transports those things to markets. This creates jobs and wealth.

On the other hand, when the government adds a new job, it has to find the money to pay for it. It gets that money from taxes. Taxes are taking a portion of those things grown, harvested, dug and moved.

Sure, government employees pay taxes. But this is not new money. The taxes they pay are simply a re-assignation of funds in the system. Government cannot sustain without an injection of taxes from newly created wealth. The government never creates wealth; at its best, it will support a business environment that creates wealth that pays the taxes.

The problem is simple: Government is spending faster than the people who grow and harvest and dig and move can grow and harvest and dig and move. The solution is simple: Slow the spending.

Who will help slow the spending? The decision is simple: Dino Rossi.

But-but-but the Dems are SAYING they’ll cut spending. Don’t you think we can believe them?

  2. Roncella says:

Rossi, will do a much better job at slowing the spending then the Dirty Tennis Shoes Patty Murray wwould ever do

Dirty Tennis ShoesPatty will vote however she is told to by her all powerful leaders Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid Two extreme Liberal Democrats bankrupting America.

Vote for Rossi This November to restore sanity to Government .

  3. Sumner401 says:

    Spending isn’t our problem.
Just what do you righties think will happen if spending is cut?
Your party out spends it’s own record, so why would anyone trust they will stop now?

  4. sumner you asked on another post name one good thing a republican has done for this country. Well i can name the most important one. President Lincoln,he freed the slaves. Top that one.

  5. dewilson says:

Isn’t Rossi supporting the extension of the Bush tax cut to the top 2% which would add $670 Billion dollars to the deficit??? Or does anyone recognize that a reduction in tax revenues has the same impact as spending on the deficit.

  6. Sumner401 says:

That wasn’t the question mathius but at least you tried, which is way more than your fellow lemmings.

  7. the3rdpigshouse says:

High unemployment and controlled economic chaos is the agenda of the socialist democrat party and its leader “OH-Bummer”!! Wake up citizens and get these anti-American marxist/socialists out of government!

  8. Sumner401 says:

Looks more like high unemployment is the agenda of the fascists republican party and their many leaders/entertainers.
Wake up citizens and get these anti-American fascist/conservatives that caused the economic collapse out of Govt!!!

  9. Roncella says:

Dewison, we’ve been down this road more than a few times but I will repeat this one more time for you.

Small Busiiness is what makes most jobs and gets the economy m0ving. These jobs are not monthly or six month jobs like the government creates and then does not continue to fund.

When you allow the Bush Tax cuts to expire for the top 3% you are including most of the Small Businesses in America. What do you think thats going to do for jobs and to get the economy moving ???

The expense involved in continuing the Bush tax cuts for the top three percent is more than ofset by the taxes and new businesses and jobs created by not taxing them. ‘The additional cost is offset over a 10 year period,. so as businesses come back and start hiring , jobs return and the economy starts to hum again.

Dewilson have you ever owned your own business or do you have a friend or relative who has ? Let them sit down with you and explain how much it cost to operate a small business under 500,000. Let them show you the State and Federal taxes and other operating expenses they are required to pay including insurance and unemployment charges utilities all the rest.

you and so many other Liberals just don’t have a clue what your talking about.

  10. Sumner401 says:

roncella, can you name me one thing the right has done in favor of the middle class working man in the last 30 years?
Just one thing, should be easy.

If your sacred tax cuts were being ‘offset’ then why are they adding 800 billion to the deficit as we speak and set to add another 700 billion next year?

The precious “small business” that are in the top 3% are in fact doctors, lawyers and very few others. None in fact can be proven or shown to ‘create’ any jobs of any sort. Why do you fall for the lies over and over?
If your tax cuts were going to do anything for the economy, they would have done it years ago, they didn’t and they never will.

Your talking points are foolish and not based in reality or the facts, none of them are roncella, none.

  11. eagle_beak says:

why don’t you all come up for some air?

God bless America and help us make our country strong!
