EDITORIAL: Astute closing words apply to science and politics

Re: “Climate change: At least science admits its errors” (editorial, 8-31).

I just would like to thank The News Tribune editorial staff for the following closing words in the editorial: “Inviting criticism from independent experts is a big part of scientific ethics. If only it were part of this country’s political ethics, too.”

Well said, and it couldn’t be written at a more attuned moment. Thanks for brightening my day.

    In govt as well as academia, as long as you tow the big govt socialist line you are golden, but dispute anything with fact and logic…Political ethics are something you read about in the history books and then it is espousing the political ethics of the like of Mao, Stalin, Che which leads right into more of the indoctrination masquarading as education. It is no wonder we ahve become the filling in a crap sandwich…
