PROP. 8: It’s not easy to abide by Leviticus

Hatred and bigotry against the “other” is as old as the human race, as is the proportion of humanity genetically born homosexual.

Too many so-called believers justify their intolerance by quoting Leviticus. Those who do so should beware their own hypocrisy. By its antiquated and fanciful strictures, few if any of us avoid its many abominations on a daily basis.

Those who wish to turn to the mythology of the Bible for their personal faith and morality, fine. But please don’t conflate it with civil law and direct it against those with different beliefs. And please stop cherry-picking biblical citations.
