I find it interesting that Kevin Dayton, Washington State Department of Transportation administrator for the Olympic Region, takes full responsibility for the massive offramp error (“The buck stops with me”) while his boss, Paula Hammond, says error placement “goes up and down the agency.”

There’s another (ex)chief in another state who blamed everyone but herself when her company’s stock plummeted down during her tenure. Is this a gender thing? Your agency screwed up, woman. Take the hit. You earned it!
