MILTON: Feds should address access first

Re: “Milton’s sole public privy will have to be replaced” (TNT, 6-16).

I find the attitude of the Justice Department to be vicious and vindictive towards the City of Milton. Just up the road on Milton Way stands the Federal Post Office which is totally inaccessible for disabled individuals. I have opened the doors many times for people who could not enter the post office.

The City of Milton should inform the Justice Department it will pattern the accessibility issue to conform to the same standards used to make the Federal Post Office accessible to disabled individuals.
