CONGRESS: Shameful reaction to Calderon

Shame on the Democrats in Congress, led by Nancy Pelosi, who gave President Felipe Calderon of Mexico a standing ovation when he denounced Arizona for trying to solve its problems with illegal immigration.

Maybe nearly as bad was the day before when Calderon, flanked by President Obama, stood on the steps of the White House, voicing similar thoughts. Obama then called the efforts of Arizona “misguided.”

What is our country coming to? Shameful and sickening!

Shameful & sickening together with marxist and socialist are a proper description for that national mistake “OH-Bummer” who is currently embarrassing and destroying the once great USA!!!!!!

  2. … and lying about it…

I wish nothing less than a Biblical Justice for the President and Most of Congress….

A plague of locasts will do nicely…just enough to get the point across.

  5. Roncella says:

Nancy Pelosi, and all the Democrats in Congress should hold their heads down in shame for their support of the Mexican Presidents remarks before the Congress and against the Governor and the citizens of Arizona.

President Obama standing at the side of the Mexican President on the Whitehouse steps in agreement with him on Arizona’s Imagration bill being unjust, is not surprising. Obama has become the Apoligist In Chief President for Communist Leaders, Socialist Leaders, Dictators and any other Country who wants to make negative remarks about America.

  6. Why is anyone surprised? That kind of behaviour is to be expected from the demokrats.

  7. donjames says:

Sam Alito and Joe wilson have both previously nailed 0bama in that venue, so I guess this time he needed a pinch-liar.

  8. Volks253 says:

Freedom of speech applies to everyone, it’s in the Constitution.
You juveniles do support the Constitution don’t you?
Or do you only want to hear what you agree with?
Maybe you think the country is too fragile to withstand a few words of criticism, especially when it’s true?
is that it, you are too weak to stand it so you think the nation is too?

  9. Volks, I for one am not afraid to hear criticism, and even criticize government.

That’s not what this is about. This is about a public display that reflected shame on our country at a time when we need to be unified in our effort to humanely deal with the immigration problem.

Pelosi, Reid et. al. and Obama played politics as usual during Calderone’s visit and it was sickening to watch.

  10. volks253, the President of the United States should never stand shoulder to shoulder with some tin horn scoundrel who can’t run his own country and play second fiddle to him. I know that as a liberal, you’re used to playing second fiddle to more intelligent people, but I expect more from the president. What’s that old saying? “Birds of the feather stick together”? It’s difficult for this country to fly with the eagles when we are being led by magpies.
