ROSSI: Rossi is cabinet-qualified

Letter by George A. Terhaar, Enumclaw on April 30, 2010 at 5:23 pm with 17 Comments »

The state Democrats stated Dino Rossi is a partner in a firm that allegedly owes $20,000 on a piece of property (TNT, 4-30).

Is this a problem? It shouldn’t be, for if this claim is judged true, he has made himself a top candidate for a cabinet position in the Obama administration.

  1. They done grow them really smart in Enumclaw !

  2. tommy98466 says:

The usual democrat smear. Anyone who owns property in the State of Washington who only paid half of their taxes so far this year owes the County/State money on that property. Nice try George. Your ignorance is showing. Pathetic.

  3. the3rdpigshouse says:

George – you have some serious issues going on here that require immediate attention!!

  4. Olemag says:

Please don’t trot this old dog, Rossi, out again. He’s past ready to be put out to pasture.

  5. Tax cheats in the federal administration . . . ? Who’s a thunk?

  6. Roncella says:

Rossi, Must take the gloves off this time. He is dealing with Patty Murry who has alot of political funds and big shot backers in the Congress.

Rossi, needs to get agressive and go after Patty’s record. She is an extreme Liberal and has voted like one her entire career.

Rossi won’t beat Patty unless he shows some life in his wanting to beat her and take her seat in Congress.

Mr. Rossi don’t run against Patty M. unless you really want to Win, Please.

  7. beerBoy says:

Little confused here…..is this letter supportive or denigrative of Rossi?

  8. klthompson says:

Sarcasm is what it was. I think.

  9. jiminycricket says:

If Rossi ran for dog catcher, let alone the US Senate, he’d be a three time loser instead of a two time loser. Either label is quite befitting! I’d trust someone who sells snake oil before I’d trust Rossi!

  10. Get the smear campaign fired up. How about forcing him to testify in a sham trial days before the election again. Great comment Roncella-he does need to drop the class act campaign this time, and go for the throat. These pieces of garbage like Patty Murray and Christine Gregoire have no ethics or integrity. Fight fire with fire. Our state needs you Dino, and you will have to get in the trenches and throw some mud too this time.

Dino-we need your leadership. Our state has lost its way

  11. mongoos says:

Who’s Cabinet are we talking about? Obama’s? Rossi’s not qualified because he isn’t a tax cheat, despite, ironically, the desperate Democratic attempts to prove him one.

  12. enotrams says:

Rossi is a piece of crap. Spend just two minutes with him and you’ll know it’s true. He’s nothing more than a slick talking schyster in an expensive suit who doesn’t deserve to represent the people of this state in congress.

He’ the worst kind of politician (the one who takes credit for everything while doing absolutely nothing). He offers nothing but more of the same “no” from the Republican side and has no chance of doing anything but lining the pockets of fat cat donors and wealthy constituents. Mike McGavick would be a better option for those who are serious about change. (and so would Mickey Mouse)

Rossi, who wouldn’t consider running for a DC office in the past because of ‘family’ considerations (when he wanted to be governor) is now somehow open to the idea. Rossi and his pal Dupe Esser have screwed the Republicans in this state long enough. It’s time to throw these bums out and start over.

  13. tjnpuyallup says:

In the article, it was shown Rossi had zero connection to the property in question, just as the accusations on the phoney Dino hit-ad website put up by the DSCC were refuted.

Forget the fact that a 3 term U.S. Senator is now attacking a private citizen who has not stated if he is running. I’m as concerned that these attacks show just how ignorant Patty Murray is on the complexities of business finance. This is one of the 100 people who will be voting to “fix” our financial lending system.

Let us take inventory: we have companies that are too big to fail, a government too big to succeed and senators too small to do anything about it. God help us all!

  14. Roncella says:

Patty Murray has voted with Pelosi 100% of the time. She is an embarrassment to the Great State of Washington. Its time to retire her .

Rossi can beat Murray but he has got to go after her on her record. The important thing is he has to go after her agressively.

Enotrams, I guess your real proud of the many Liberal/Democrats who like Murray have accomplished nothing for the time they have been serving in the Congress, like Barbara Boxer, Dodd, Barney Frank, Pelosi, Reid, Biden, Durban, John Kerry, so many other shining examples of waste in government.

  15. LibertyBell says:

Just think, but we know it’s a difficult subject matter for a (D)elerious (D)emocrat.

Take for instance Guardian Marine, and the kickbacks made to Murry, Dicks, and McDermott?

Oh yes what a classic case of Pork for US, from Patty Murray? Over 17 million wasted in a federal Pork Rider for some patrol craft, that both the Navy and Coast Guard, said “NO” to???

We’ve all herd of that 600 dollar “toilet seat”. The difference is that the toilet seat was actually used in a military fasion, to give birth to Patty Murray, Norm Dicks, and the likes of Jim McDermott too.

I suppose the interest and penalities from the Snohomish County Treasurer, of 12% annually, with a fine of 8% could also only confuse Patty Murray, great education from the State of Confusion too.

This is what happens wjhen your U.S. Senator, flunks 5th grade math class, a requirement for a party, known well locally as the (D)efecit Party, Just go look at Olympia, and the perfect match Porkulus Patty and associates.

  16. Any state that would elect the likes of Baghdad Jim McDermott and Patty-cake Murray over and over agiain just tells me that there’s a lot of fools living there.

  17. bullman120 says:

rossi aside, this is the problem with the washington state republican party. there are no viable candidates. the people of the state of washington would happily reject the socialist agenda of the democratic party. if they had a candidate that was neither a religious zealot, or someone percieved as being in bed with big business.
