HEALTH CARE: Cancer surgery not approved in health care bill?

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said prior to the health care bill vote that Congress needed to vote for it to find out what is in it.

I know the bill was written to have rules for a single payer or a government-controlled program, but after passing the bill we now are learning cancer surgery will not be approved unless the cancer is invasive. Does this mean if your daughter finds a small tumor in her breast, they will not approve surgery until the cancer advances?

I have written Rep. Norm Dicks and both of our senators asking this question and none of them responded to the question. I received a form letter by e-mail from two of them, telling me how great the health care law is. Did Dicks or our two senators read the bill?
