HEALTH CARE: Cancer surgery not approved in health care bill?

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said prior to the health care bill vote that Congress needed to vote for it to find out what is in it.

I know the bill was written to have rules for a single payer or a government-controlled program, but after passing the bill we now are learning cancer surgery will not be approved unless the cancer is invasive. Does this mean if your daughter finds a small tumor in her breast, they will not approve surgery until the cancer advances?

I have written Rep. Norm Dicks and both of our senators asking this question and none of them responded to the question. I received a form letter by e-mail from two of them, telling me how great the health care law is. Did Dicks or our two senators read the bill?

Of course they didn’t read the bill!!! All they did was what the marxist/socialist democrat leadership told them to do – not what the eleectorate told them!!!!

  2. Good ol’ rationing. We’d probably have to find out how old your daughter is, if she is overweight, if she has any ties to a government official to determine if she is worthy of receiving care. Let the backlash continue, lets dump this garbage bill!!

  3. Thomas, The healthcare bill was designed to limit access–not reform. No insurance company denies more claims than Medicare does. Thus, the beginning of the decline in our healthcare system.

Just where is this found in the actual legislation? I wouldn’t take the letter-writer’s statements at face value, because he apparently also believes that the new law establishes a “single payer or a government-controlled program.” In fact, the opposite is true — even if states want to set up their own single payer system, the new law makes it harder for them to do so.

So I would insist the letter-writer back up his claims before believing them.

LC – the letter write is waiting for a response from those socialist members of the Washington delegation to Congress who have staffs that should be able to provide the answer!!! Any bets on Thomas never receiving a definitive response from those maggots!!!

“OH-Bummer” is an anti-American marxist/socialist who has many programs he wants installed in his effort to “transform” a once great nation into a socialist utopia – Wake up ignorant electorate and vote these maggots out of government starting in 2010!!!

Amazing how uniformed people are about this bill.
Do you all just choose to hear only what you want to hear?
Are facts and the truth that scary to you that you purposely tune them out by choosing a network known for it’s lies?

This thing isn’t rocket science, there was no ‘take over’ there is no’ Govt. health care, the Govt. can’t ration what it doesn’t control.
Nothing has changed, you still have your insurance, it’s just that they can’t rip you off in the same old ways anymore, but rest assured they WILL find new ways to rip you off, so you should rest easy, your money is being wasted by the privet insurance industry just like always.
