Leave it to those wacky Presbyterians to put together a Sunday night musical program that will make me miss ’60 Minutes’ Sunday night.

Tacoma’s Immanuel Presbyterian Church is hosting a Blues Vespers with Grammy nominee Bill Sims Jr. and northwest artists Paul Green and the Mark Riley Trio.

Admission is free, though they’ll pass the hat for Habitat for Humanity Guatemala, and after the concert, there will be gumbo for all.

If you’re going, say hello to Pastor Dave Brown. And to me. Immanuel is at 901 North J Street. Life blues for a good cause? You can always record ’60 Minutes.’
