BAKER RIVER TRAIL TO SULPHIDE CREEK
Directions: The trailhead is at the east end of Baker Lake which is wast of the town of Concrete. Drive state Route 20, the North Cascades Highway, to Baker Lake Road, between mileposts 82 and 83. Turn north on Baker Lake Road and drive 26 miles to the trailhead. Note that at 23 miles the pavement ends
when the road turns into Forest Road 11.
Difficulty rating: 2 (1 is easiest, 5 is most difficult)

The Stryker has evolved for modern conflict. The back ramp allows nine infantrymen to dismount, four gunner hatches allow 360-degree security on the battlefield, slat armor protects from rocket-propelled grenades and the rhino detonates roadside bombs before the vehicle rolls over them.

Backups are happening because two lanes of southbound Interstate 5 have become one leading to state Route 16 through Nalley Valley. Southbound and northbound Interstate 5 traffic is restricted to one lane each.
