One month in, and Moore changes caddies

The man that was rumored to be Tiger Woods’ next caddie last fall – Tony Navarro – ended up to a deal with Puyallup’s Ryan Moore to start 2012 on the PGA Tour.

That partnership lasted four tournaments. Moore parted ways the longtime veteran caddie, and now has agreed with Californian J.J. Jakovac to be part of the team.

Jakovac, a former two-time NCAA Division II national champion at Chico State, and Moore have known each other from college golf.

A former mini-tour player, Jakovac had switched to being a caddie in 2009 for Matt Bettencourt – and most recently

Moore 67th, on outside of Accenture Match Play

Even though he tied for 20th at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am, Puyallup’s Ryan Moore was bumped from the field of the WGC-Accenture Match Play Championships in two weeks.

Moore fell from 65th to 67th in the official world golf rankings. With Phil Mickelson already stating he will not play in the event, No. 65 – Ernie Els – was the cutoff point this morning when the new rankings were published.

What hurt Moore was what happened at the European Tour’s Omega Dubai Desert Classic on Sunday where Spain’s Rafael Cabrera-Bello won (moved up from 119th to 60th in
