This week: John Deere Classic, Thursday through Sunday, TPC Deere Run, Silvis, Ill.

Moore’s third-round score: 6-under-par 65.

Position: Moore (11-under 202) is tied for 17th, eight strokes behind leader Daniel Summerhays (19-under 194. Gonzales (3-under 139, tied for 72nd) and Stanley (5-over 147, tied for 141st) missed the cut Friday.

Recap: Moore tied his season-best for birdies in a round with eight, matching his total in the first round of the Waste Management Phoenix Open in early February. He bogeyed the ninth hole to turn in 2-under, but made birdies at No. 10 (two-putt from 25 feet on par 5), No. 14 (wedge approach to 8 feet), No. 16 (24-foot putt) and No. 17 (up-and-down from 35 yards left of green on par 5, sank 9-footer).

Moore’s tee time Sunday: 9:24 a.m. PDT off the first tee.
