Tacoma City Amateur being held at High Cedars, Brookdale, Eagles Pride

As springs kicks into gear, don’t forget the oldest amateur event in Tacoma is on the horizon – the 83rd Tacoma City Amateur.

This year’s 54-hole event is broken up into three rounds:

* First round June 15 at High Cedars (10 a.m.)
* Second round June 16 at Brookdale (10 a.m.)
* Final round June 23 at Eagles Pride at Fort Lewis (9 a.m.)

Puyallup’s Ben Nelson is the defending champion. He won the title in a sudden-death playoff last year at Fircrest Golf Club.
