This week: Arnold Palmer Invitational, Thursday through Sunday, Bay Hill Club and Lodge, Orlando, Fla.

Moore’s second-round score: Even-par 72.

Stanley’s second-round score: 4-over 76.

Position: Moore (6-over 150) tied for 104th, and Stanley (9-over 153) tied for 124th, and missed the cut. Bill Haas and Justin Rose (9-under 135) are the 36-hole co-leaders.

Recap: After blowing up Thursday, did they really have a chance to stay in this tournament? This was the third consecutive tournament where Moore could not seem to escape the one-hole big number (he now has made six double bogeys or worse in past five rounds). And on Friday, his double bogey at No. 14 (three-putt from 12 feet) interrupted a pretty good round – one that started with three birdies in the first 12 holes. … Stanley also had an under-par round going when he ran into trouble at the sixth hole, a par 5. His second shot from 225 yards stayed left and plopped into the pond, and he took a penalty stroke en route to making a double bogey.

Next: TBD.
