This week: Arnold Palmer Invitational, Thursday through Sunday, Bay Hill Club and Lodge, Orlando, Fla.

Stanley’s first-round score: 5-over-par 77.

Moore’s first-round score: 6-over 78.

Position: Stanley is tied for 109th, and Moore is tied for 118th – all trailing leader Justin Rose (65).

Recap: Tough day for the locals. Stanley made one birdie – at No. 16 (two-putt from 30 feet) – then made the turn and promptly ran into trouble off the tee at the first hole when he drove into a fairway bunker, had to lay up and hit his third shot into a back greenside bunker, all leading to double bogey to fall to 3-over. … Moore’s lone birdie also came at the 16th hole, then saw his round derailed at one of the best finishing holes in golf at No. 18. He hit two approach shots into the greenside pond, and ended up with a triple bogey to make the turn at 5-over.

Tee times Friday: Stanley at 5:39 a.m. PDT off the first tee, and Moore at 10:31 a.m. PDT off the first tee.
