This week: WGC-Cadillac Championship, Thursday through Sunday, TPC Blue Monster at Doral, Miami, Fla.

Second-round score: 1-under-par 71.

Position: Moore (even-par 144) is tied for 44th, 13 strokes behind leader Tiger Woods (13-under 131).

Recap: In 36 holes, Moore has made 31 pars – tops in the field. And if this tournament played like a U.S. Open, the Cascade Christian product would likely be in the top 10, not the bottom half of the field. Moore birdied his third hole Friday – No. 12 – by laying up on the par 5, and rolling in a 22-foot putt. After that, he finished the round with 15 consecutive pars. And although he hit just 11 greens in regulation, Moore leads all golfers in scrambling this week.

Moore’s tee time Saturday: 6:55 a.m. PST off the first tee.

Puerto Rico Open: Tacoma’s Troy Kelly shot a 2-under-par 70, and is tied for 42nd (5-under 139). Olympia’s Andres Gonzales shot a 5-under 67, and missed the cut by two strokes (1-under 143) after the second round.
