This week: Northern Trust Open, Thursday through Sunday, Riviera Country Club, Pacific Palisades, Calif.
Moore’s fourth-round score: 3-over-par 74.
Position: Moore (2-under 282) tied for 27th, nine strokes behind co-leaders Charlie Beljan and John Merrick. Kelly (10-over 152) missed the cut by eight strokes Friday.
Recap: On a fast course, this regular PGA Tour event played more like a Sunday of a U.S. Open. Moore curled in a 10-foot putt from in front of the green at No. 3 to start 2-under on his round. It would be his final birdie of the tournament. He made five bogeys in a six-hole stretch on the final nine holes.
Next: The WGC-Accenture Match Play Championships starting Wednesday at The Golf Club at Dove Mountain in Marana, Ariz. Moore is the 10th seed in the Bobby Jones Bracket, and will faced seventh-seeded Jim Furyk in the opening round.
