David Fink, a Hawaii native who plays for Oregon State, sank a 10-foot birdie putt on the fourth playoff hole to win the 46th Pacific Coast Amateur at Bandon Dunes Golf Course in Oregon.

Fink emerged from a five-man playoff – the largest in tournament history. University Place’s Michael Putnam won a three-way playoff in 2004.

Fink won in sudden death over Anton Arboleda, Michael Anderson, Matt Rawitzer and Taeksoo Kim. All men finished regulation at 7-over-par 291.

Olympia’s Jarred Bossio, who held a three-stroke lead heading into the final round, shot a 10-over 82. He played one seven-hole stretch on the back nine in 7-over to fall out of contention – and finished tied for 12th at 295.
