Nobody broke par Tuesday at windy Bandon Dunes Golf Complex for the opening round of the 46th Pacific Coast Amateur.

Hawaii’s Lorens Chan and Gaston De La Torre, out of Brush Prairie, shot even-par 70s at Bandon Trails to grab a two-stroke lead.

Both leaders had a chance for under-par rounds, but bogeyed the finishing holes.

Olympia’s Jarred Bossio survived back-to-back double bogeys to stay near the lead after an opening 3-over 73 at Bandon Trails, and sits tied for fourth. Dominick Francks, also from Olympia, shot a 76, and is tied for 15th.
