Second-round action was pushed right until the end of daylight Tuesday at the 111th Pacific Northwest Men’s Amateur Championship, and now the field of 64 is set for the start of match play today:

Some of the interesting matchups at Wine Valley Golf Club:

* No. 1 seed Carl Jonson (who shot course-record 63 on Tuesday) versus No. 64 seed Dan Whitaker (no ordinary last seed).

* No. 18 seed Chris Tedesco (recent graduate of Bellarmine Prep) versus No. 47 seed Jarred Bossio (Olympia product had has good a summer in 2011 as any local).

* No. 19 seed Tyler Salsbury (UW signee who rarely goes on birdie- or bogey-making streaks) versus No. 46 seed Rak Cho (emerging standout at the University of Oregon).
