This week: The Memorial Tournament, Thursday through Sunday, Muirfield Golf Club, Dublin, Ohio.

World rankings: Stanley is 54th, and Moore is 71st.

2012 earnings: Stanley has $2.01 million (15th on the PGA Tour), and Moore has $908,909 (45th on the PGA Tour).

Last tournament: In his past six PGA Tour stops, Moore has really got it going – all made cuts, three top-10 finishes and nearly $700,000 in earnings. He tied for 26th at last week’s Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial (even-par 280). Now it is on to this tournament – arguably Moore’s favorite of regular tour events – where under the conditions it plays almost like a major championship. Moore has registered three top-10s here in the past five appearances, including a runner-up showing in 2007. … What more is there to know about Stanley’s current funk? He has missed the cut in his past three tournaments, including last week at Colonial (6-over 146). He has not shot a round in the 60s since his second-round 69 at the Shell Houston Open in early April – a span of five events. Much of the recent issues stem from putting – he ranks in the lower third on tour in virtually all of those statistical categories. Good news? Based on world ranking, he earned an automatic exemption into next month’s U.S. Open at Olympic Club.

Tee times Thursday: Stanley at 5:15 a.m. PDT off the first tee, and Moore at 9:32 a.m. PDT off the 10th tee.
