The memorial of local golf architect John “Jeff” Harbottle III, who died in California on Thursday, will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Parish in Tacoma.

Following the service will be a reception at Tacoma Country and Golf Club where the 53-year-old was a member.

Harbottle’s works include the Olympic Course at Gold Mountain (2006 U.S. Public Links, 2011 U.S. Junior Amateur) and Palouse Ridge (2012 NCAA Women’s West Regional), as well as more than 50 renovations on existing courses.
