This week: Valero Texas Open, Thursday through Sunday, TPC San Antonio, San Antonio, Texas.

Moore’s third-round score: 1-under-par 71.

Position: Moore (1-under 215) is tied for 15th, eight strokes behind leader Ben Curtis (9-under 207). Kelly (11-over 155) and Putnam (12-over 156) missed the cut.

Recap: A real positive development for Moore, who is one of just 20 golfers under-par after three rounds. And with the winds up again, he was also one of just 19 professionals in red figures for his round. Moore overcame an early double bogey with a strong finish – birdies at No. 16 (17-foot putt) and No. 17 (wedge approach to 5 feet).

Tee time Sunday: 8:45 a.m. PDT.
