This week: Mayakoba Golf Classic, Thursday through Sunday, El Camaleon Golf Club in Riviera Maya, Mexico.

Fourth-round score: 2-under-par 69.

Position: Kelly (2-under 282) tied for 37th, 11 strokes behind winner John Huh (271), who defeated Robert Allenby is a sudden-death playoff.

Recap: The Central Kitsap graduate recorded his best career finish in a PGA Tour tournament Sunday, eclipsing the tied-for-51st showing at the 2009 Reno-Tahoe Open. It was also the first time this season he posted back-to-back rounds in the 60s. Yet, there might be a tinge of disappointment taken from Sunday since he was 5-under through 13 holes, and was inside the top 20 before taking a double bogey at the 14th hole. He earned $15,170 for the tournament.

Next: The Honda Classic starting Thursday at PGA National Champion Course in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.
