2011 earnings: Stanley has $1.51 million (52nd on the PGA Tour), and Gonzales has $105,317 (213th on the PGA Tour).

Last tournament: The college homecoming parade for the locals started a couple of weeks ago when Puyallup’s Ryan Moore and Gonzales teed it up at the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children open in Las Vegas (both attended UNLV). Now it is Stanley’s turn, who not only knows this area well from his days at Clemson, he now resides in this golf-rich community. Oddly enough at the J.T. Shriners event, it was Stanley who was the only local who made the cut – at 16-under-par 268. … Gonzales has cashed in two of his three past tournaments, including a tied-for-72nd showing at last week’s Frys.com Open. Throw in his runner-up finish at the Nationwide Tour’s Soboba Classic in late September, and the Capital High graduate is easily playing his best golf of the season right now. And for the record, no the PGA Tour’s funniest Twitter user did not play – or meet with – Tiger Woods at last week’s tournament.
