This week: The Barclays, Thursday through Sunday, Plainfield Country Club, Edison, N.J. – the first leg of the FedEx Cup playoffs.

Stanley’s third-round score: 2-under-par 69.

Position: Stanley (10-under 203) tied for 24th – nine strokes behind winner Dustin Johnson (194). Moore (3-under 139) missed the cut Friday.

Recap: The day started slow – Stanley missed a 6-foot putt for par on the opening hole – but the Bellarmine Prep did make seven birdies in what was round of streaks. He finished strong, nearly holing a 35-foot chip for eagle at No. 16, and then hitting his drive in greenside rough on the short par-4 18th hole that led to his final birdie. He moved up nine spots in the FedEx Cup playoff standings, to 39th.

Next for Stanley: Deutsche Bank Championship starting Friday at TPC Boston in Norton, Mass. – the second leg of the FedEx Cup playoffs.
