This week: PGA Tour’s AT&T National, Thursday through Sunday, Aronimink Golf Club, Newton Park, Pa.
World rankings: Moore is 37th; Stanley is 350th.
2011 earnings: Moore has $1.45 million (33rd on the PGA Tour), and Stanley has $392,573 (125th on the PGA Tour).
Last tournament: One thing – good or bad – that Moore has known over his career is runner-up finishes, He finished second at last week’s Travelers Championship (19-under 261) after making bogey on the final hole to lose to Sweden’s Fredrik Jacobson. The only time the Cascade Christian graduate has not posted a runner-up finish since turning professional in 2005 was the year he won the Wyndham Championship – 2009. And he appears to like this Aronimink GC layout, having finished second to England’s Justin Rose in its first season at this site in 2010. … Once off to a blazing start, Stanley needs to get it going again – especially since he sits square on the money-list cutoff line in 125th. Since late March, his best finish has been a tied-for-37th at the Memorial, and he’s also missed the cut in half of his eight tournaments, including at last week’s Travelers Championship (2-under 138). … A chance exists that Tacoma’s Michael Putnam could squeeze into the field later today. He is the first alternate.
Tee times Thursday: Stanley at 5:59 a.m. PDT off the first tee, and Moore at 10:06 a.m. PDT off the 10th tee.
