Tacoma’s Troy Kelly waited until his 29th start to do something he’s never done on the Nationwide Tour – hold an overnight lead.

Kelly fired a 5-under-par 66, and is tied with Georgia senior Russell Henley heading into the final round of the Stadion Classic on Sunday in Athens, Ga.

Both golfers stand at 9-under 204.

Kelly’s best Nationwide Tour finished was as the runner-up at the 2009 Chattanooga Classic.

For those who care, Troy ended up taking second place and netted the first place purse as it was an amateur who came in first. Congrats Troy.
