Stanley’s third-round score: Even-par 72.

Position: Putnam (4-under 212) is tied for 41st, Gonzales (3-under 213) is in 51st, and Stanley (1-under 215) is tied for 55th – all trailing leader Troy Matteson (200).

This week: WGC Cadillac Championship, Thursday through Sunday, TPC Blue Monster at Doral, Doral, Fla.

First-round score: 2-under-par 70.

Second-round score: 2-over 74.

Position: Moore (even-par 144) is tied for 34th, nine strokes behind leader Hunter Mahan (135), who shot a 71 Friday.

Recap: The winds calmed for play Friday, but the greens dried out, and were more difficult surfaces to control the ball on. For Moore, approach shots at the eighth (water hazard), 11th (in bunker) and 17th (in collar in front of the green) were short of the target, leading to bogeys. His lone birdie came on one

Position: Gonzales (2-under 142) is tied for 48th, and Putnam and Stanley (1-under 143) is tied for 59th – all trailing co-leaders James Driscoll, Troy Matteson and Chris Tidland (134).

Recap: Round 2 in the grouping of Pierce County products – and Tacoma Country and Golf Club members – went to Putnam on Friday. All three of the Life Christian Academy’s birdies were on par-5 holes. …

Recap: Hurricane-type conditions blew in during the morning, suspending play – and making sure the afternoon wave in which Moore play would not finish up. World ranking: 40th.

2011 earnings: $550,440 (30th on the PGA Tour).

Last tournament: Moore reached the quarterfinals of the WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship on Feb. 27, and finished tied for fifth – easily his best finish at that tournament. In fact, the Cascade Christian product has really shown well at these World Golf Championship tournaments, tying for 16th the 2010 WGC-Bridgestone last August, and placing third alone at the 2009 WGC-HSBC Champions tournament 16 months ago.
