This week: PGA Tour’s Transitions Championship, Thursday through Sunday, Innisbrook Golf Course on the Salamander Golf and Spa Resort, Tampa Bay, Fla.

Moore’s first-round score: 4-under-par 67.

Stanley’s first-round score: 1-over-par 72.

Position: Moore is tied for sixth, and Stanley is tied for 88th – all behind leader Paul Casey (64).

Recap: For much of the morning wave, Moore led the tournament at 5-under through 10 holes – until he had back-to-back bogeys at the second and third holes, both on three-putts from 45 feet. The Cascade Christian product got a stroke back later when his 4-iron tee shot on the par-3 eighth landed pin-high, and he sank a 13-foot putt for his sixth birdie of the round. … Stanley, out of Bellarmine Prep, also had back-to-back bogeys early, got it back to even-par by canning a 10-foot birdie putt on the seventh hole, but gave the stroke back a hole later when he did not get up and down from 40 feet from greenside rough, making bogey.

Tee times Friday: Stanley at 6:40 a.m. PDT off the first tee, and Moore at 10:12 a.m. PDT off the first tee.
